Visual artist, photographer and independent book-maker based in Moscow, Russia, graduate of the Institute of Contemporary Arts in Moscow and Fotodepartament in St.Petersburg, co-founder of Russian Independent Selfpublished group, winner of Rock your dummy 2013 photo book contest and recipient of the Urban Urge Seed Grant 2014. Lena works with photography, projection, video, dance, performance and self-publishes artist books of limited edition. Dancer's background defines her interest to physicality and bodily manifestations in statics of the image and dynamics of the video.

Lena's photographs and books have been exhibited in Moscow (6th Moscow Biennale of contemporary art, MMOMA, Artplay, Sokol CCA, Belyaevo gallery, Random gallery, Gogol-Centre), St.Petersburg (Manifesta10, Taiga gallery, Fotodepartament), Kazan, Minsk, Krasnoyarsk, Norilsk, Ekaterinburg, Uglich, Sao Paolo, Bologna, Aarhus, Paris, Amsterdam, Riga, Delhi, Belfast, Athens, Tbilisi etc. In Moscow Lena's photographs are represented by Ptichka gallery and ArtChoice project, in St.Petersburg - by FotoDepartament gallery.

Commercially Lena works mainly as fashion and portrait photographer, often collaborating with designers and other artists.
